Furniture Leasing & Finance FAQs

Does this affect my business credit rating?

Our finance option is available to non-regulated business (B2B) customers only and not to individual consumers, sole traders or small partnerships.

Accordingly, CF Corporate Finance Limited (CFCF) assesses finance applications using publicly available company information, including accounts filed at Companies House, together with information obtained from credit reference agencies and other relevant sources.

As part of the application process, CFCF may carry out credit searches and share information relating to your application and any resulting agreement with credit reference agencies. This is standard practice for business finance applications and may occur whether or not the application proceeds.

In some circumstances, additional support may be required from a director in the form of a director's guarantee. Where this applies, a personal credit search may be carried out on the relevant director and a record of that search may be recorded on the director's personal credit file.

What happens at the end of the term?

This is a hire agreement, so the furniture doesn't become your property at any point — it's rented for the fixed or minimum term, not purchased.

You’ll be contacted before the end of the fixed or minimum term regarding the options available under your agreement.

Can I settle or exit early?

The terms of your agreement will determine whether it can end before the end of the fixed or minimum term. Where early termination is permitted, the settlement amount will typically include any unpaid rentals and the rentals that would otherwise have fallen due for the remainder of the term, less a discount for early payment. Any net proceeds realised from the sale of the furniture will be credited against the amount due. Other costs may also be payable under the terms of your agreement. CF Corporate Finance can provide a settlement quotation for your specific agreement.

Is this only for new furniture, or can it include an existing agreement?

In some circumstances, existing finance arrangements may be refinanced or incorporated into a new funding solution, subject to CF Corporate Finance's assessment and approval.
