Public-Sector Procurement Evidence
For public-sector procurement teams, specifiers and commercial buyers, furniture decisions need evidence tied to the products being considered. Use this page to scope a documentation request for your project, rather than as proof of environmental performance or tender compliance.
Evidence must relate to the named product, material, finish and configuration. A supplier-level policy or certificate does not, by itself, establish the environmental performance of every product supplied. Document availability and scope need to be confirmed before you rely on them in a specification or tender response.
Environmental management
If your procurement criteria require evidence of a manufacturer's environmental management arrangements, include the exact requirement in your enquiry. Relevant evidence may include an environmental policy or a current independently issued management-system certificate, identifying the organisation, covered sites, scope and validity dates. No supplier certification is asserted by this page.
Repair, refurbishment and reuse
Before specifying replacement furniture, identify whether your brief allows continued use, repair or refurbishment of existing items. For a shortlisted product, request written information about replaceable components, spare-part availability, disassembly, maintenance, upholstery replacement and any limitations on repair or reuse.
Repair, refurbishment, reupholstery, take-back and collection services are not confirmed by this page. Any such provision must be verified for the named product and agreed project scope before it is included in a tender.
Recyclability and end-of-use evidence
Ask for a product-specific materials breakdown, component-separation instructions and evidence supporting any recycled-content or recyclability statement. A recyclable material does not establish that a complete assembled product can be recycled through an available local route. Any percentage claim should identify its calculation basis, covered components and supporting source.
This page makes no blanket claims that our furniture is recyclable, circular, low-carbon or environmentally preferable.
Test documentation and contract specification
For products under consideration, specify the reports you need, including relevant strength, durability, stability, fire-performance or other test evidence. Check the report reference, issuing laboratory, test date, standard and version, tested model and covered configuration.
Upholstery, fillings, finishes and construction can affect the scope of test evidence. Do not assume that a report for one configuration covers every variant. Where CRIB 5 or other fire-performance evidence is required, request documentation for the proposed specification and refer suitability for the intended setting to your project's competent fire-safety professional. No range-wide fire-performance or public-sector compliance claim is made here.
Include requirements for dimensions, finishes, warranty terms, care instructions, delivery and installation in your enquiry. These need confirmation for the proposed products and order.
Materials sourcing
If your specification requires timber or other materials sourcing evidence, identify the exact criterion. Request documentation that connects the claim to the proposed product or material, together with its scope and any relevant certificate, chain-of-custody or transaction references. A logo or general supplier statement alone should not be treated as product-specific evidence.
Certified sourcing, recycled content, country of manufacture and material traceability are not asserted unless supported for the product being specified.
Tender support
Send your product shortlist and evidence schedule with the relevant tender criteria, required document formats and submission deadline. Separate mandatory requirements from preferences and identify where a signed declaration, independent report or product-specific certificate is required.
Use the documentation request route below to establish what evidence is available and what remains unconfirmed. This page is not a declaration of compliance with Government Buying Standards, a procurement framework or any individual tender. Assess the actual supporting documents against your procurement criteria before award.
Request procurement documents
Email trade@industriousdecor.com with the subject Procurement evidence request. Please include:
- Your organisation, name and business contact details.
- Project or tender reference, intended setting and delivery location.
- Product names or links, quantities, sizes, finishes and upholstery choices.
- The exact environmental and contract criteria, with the evidence required for each.
- Your document deadline and proposed delivery timetable.
Please obtain written confirmation of document availability and scope before relying on evidence in a submission. A request does not guarantee that a particular certificate, report or service is available.
